Job Description
1. Responsible for operation and management of the Moses Lake High School swimming pool during specific operating hours.
2. Working mornings, evenings and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
1. American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
2. American Red Cross first / CPR for the professional Rescuer
3. Willingess to obtain any other certification as desired by the school district.
Responsibilities
1. An understanding of facility characteristics, rules, policies and procedures.
2. Demonstrate leadership and public relations skill.
3. Respond quickly, effectively and efficiently to all emergencies situations.
4. Development and implementation of in-service training of Lifeguards.
5. Perform / document pool safety inspections.
6. To report fully all accidents/ concerns involving any aspect of the facility.
7. Process documents pertaining to revenue, attendance, water quality, incident reports and guard audits.
8. Process daily revenue and make deposit.
9. Complete and process American Red Cross paperwork with the local chapter.
10.Supervise, evaluate and schedule life guards
11. Monitoring the pool water for abnormalities.
12. Must have excellent attendance.
13.Perform other related duties as assigned.
